This is awesome a guy who has turned his life around and has become a very good NBA player sharing his story. Just more examples of how cool it is to have KPJ as a Rocket, and I am convinced that Ime will get the most out of him and all the whiny b****es around here will come on board, or not.....but as long as he is here, he will be contributing positively to the team. Has he really? The way I see it, after Cleveland shipped his ass out, he had no choice but to "behave" and even then he has had multiple meltdowns on the court and obviously at halftime and that's only what we know Is he a talented player? Yes but is he worth the headache? Has he really changed?
Yes he sure has, been like 2 years and even that instance wasn't that big of a deal. Remember we are in the social media era where everything is reported now as a rush to be "FIRST" to say something .....when Hakeem slapped Maxwell at halftime and we hear about it 30 years later....what KPJ did was nothing....and the org accepted his apology and he has been a model citizen ever since.....that is to be commended, it is a positive change. He has not had any meltdowns, he has been frustrated just like every other NBA player, people like you don't WANT to like him so you manifest things to feed your beliefs...... If you shed that and just look at how he is as a player and teamate, then he is fine.....now @Nook has said some stuff about missing practice etc, let's see how he responds with Ime as coach, I think this will benefit KPJ well and he is no his way to an all star career. The halftime episode was a meltdown Did you forget him not wanting to sub out, stayed on the court then checked himself right back in Did u forget his pouting when he asked for the ball and didn't get it then gave up on the play entirely? Don't u hate Tmac for that exact reason? And I don't want to like him? I was ecstatic when we got him for a 2nd rounder. Unfortunately he has a loser mentality, he's not good enough to be carrying himself the way he does, certainly he's no Maxwell If we keep him, fine, I'll see how he does under Ime but this guy has shown who he is as a basketball player on multiple occasions, it's hard to believe he'll change eventually
I love it when some guys can continue on the spectacle of holding KPJ to account for things that happened a while back and then some of those same dudes carried Udoka into the fold on their shoulders!!
I think he has, that's why he was able to speak to the incoming players. And more importantly, others are seeing it.
