[HBO Max] Raised by Wolves

Sol has forsaken us!

 

Ugh terrible news. What a waste. They should at least do one more half-season to wrap it up.

 

I'm disappointed in HBO Max. There's a slim chance the creators secure a deal with another studio; find another home.

They are on the clock though, as the longer it takes, the more unlikely. The cast and production staff will start leaving for their next assignment.

 

I still can't come to grips why this happened. It just makes no sense.

I finally started this and it's gorgeous to look at but I am not sure I like where it's going, I am 4 episodes in and don't really care about anybody outside the main chick.

I kinda wish it was more about the war and the creation of the android but I like they are doing some backstory.

 

I thought this was a hit... Grabbing this show seems like a no brainer for Amazon.

I'm guessing it was probably pretty expensive to film in South Africa too. Someone, please, grab this and move it forward.

Cost of living in South Africa is roughly half what it is in the US, so it was probably cheaper.

 

There is some interesting numbers lower down in this article. I don't know how those would equate to filming the show in Utah or Nevada. But stating it was the most expensive thing filmed in South Africa is a pretty big deal (I'm guessing...I dunno).
