By lived do you mean actually establishing residency in one of these zones?

Only central, mountain, and Hawaii (3 months) for me.

Central is still the best of 'em. Eastern may be better.

Central for 25 years and Pacific for 15 years.
I prefer Pacific because you don't have to wait until the next day
to see all the sports results.

I enjoyed west coast from visiting. Everything starts and ends earlier.

I have never lived in the elusive no daylight savings having Mountain zone.

Central is nice 'cuz you still get live events in real time. 10/9 central

the worst part of Pacific time is tape delayed events (even if they were filmed live in California) and the live events like sports force you to wake up at 9 or 10 AM.

I like that Houston, New Orleans, and Chicago are all in the same time zone.

I lived in the Eastern, Central and Pacific timezones and spent a lot of time in the Mountain. I agree with the post above that the biggest drawback with Pacific was just how early most sporting and other live events were, just wasn't excited about watching NFL games at 9AM on Sunday. The Eastern timezone it seemed like everything was late. I am most partial to the Central, having lived for most of my life in it as it seems like timing works just right for watching events from either cost and locally.

West coast, no doubt. Games starts at 5:00pm, so you catch it after work at half-time. Everything finishes before 9:00pm, and you still have time to do your own thing for a couple of hours before bedtime.
