Assuming the Rockets don't get to the Finals again this year. Which would you rather see: The Rockets take the Warriors to a game #6 or #7 and still lose, but we have a rested Harden settling down to 30+ ppg. Or Harden keeping his scoring barrage up and finish close to Jordan's 37 ppg but he's tired in the playoffs and we get bounced in the 2nd round?

I don't think the Rockets will beat the Warriors this year anyhow, so why not allow Harden go off and become a legend. Nobody really remembers Kobe 35+ or Jordan 37+ not winning the Finals that year, but they remember their scoring. Harden could do that this year. A part of me feels he may think the same and say "why not, if I'm tired in the playoffs well at least I showed everyone I could do it"

I'll take the "Rockets upset the Warriors" in the WCF and then go on to win the NBA Finals.

C'mon, we're gonna win it all.

And to think, we were 35-1 at one point.

Realistically we're not beating the warriors this year unless we get AD.

I vote for enjoying the season, enjoying the greatness of harden and letting the chips fall where they may in the playoffs.

I'm not building my entire regular season game in game out strategy around setting myself up for a playoff series that I have a 1% chance of winning.

Fans need to re-learn to appreciate the regular season.

If you already knew the future then you wouldn’t have any joy in watching the game, period.

A healthy Rockets team has as good a chance to beat the Warriors as the Rockets team last year did.

The Warriors are not quite the team that they were in the past, and the Rockets have the best player in the world playing for them, that has played exceptionally well in the clutch. The Rockets still have defensive issues to resolve, and they miss Ariza..... but Capela and Harden are better, and Rivers and Faried add something the Rockets did not have. The trade deadline has not passed yet either...... There is still a lot to play for.

The Rockets have better than a 1% chance of beating the Warriors right now.

Having said that, only one team wins every year and just enjoy what you are seeing and see what happens.

WTF is up with those two options? Does OP not want the Rox to win it all?
