There is NO MVP race in reality. Media is just trying to keep this thing going to have a talking point. Harden has the MVP wrapped up. The only race is for MVP runner-up b/w Davis and LerBron and Curry and Giannis
AD has been ballin lately, but sorry, it’s too little too late Harden has already lapped the rest of the competition 4 times and I think I see him rounding the corner about to lap everyone else again
"If Anthony Davis leads his team to a top 3 seed without any all stars...he's got to be the MVP!" Literally same thing Harden did last year lmaoooooo
Folks, don't look now, but Westbrook is "rebound hunting" again. Look at his last 5 games against lottery teams. Racking up those rebounds to try to bump his 9.6 rebound/game average up to 10. OKC plays a much more rigorous schedule coming up so it will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.
I want him to average a triple double again sooooooo badly. I want to see the media trip over themselves trying to justify last year's vote.
I don't think Westbrook went into this season thinking he could do it again, but he is close right now. And I think he knows it and is now going after it, especially against these tanker teams. But they are in for a fight just to make the playoffs with their schedule. Will be hard to rebound hunt in that aspect.
There are a few players in the league who put up stats and don't really do much for winning. Carmelo Anthony, Russel Westbrook, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, and Damian Lillard put up the most empty stats in the league. They play with absolutely no flow to their games. It is me me me ball.
how dare you put MVP's name amongst those shameless chuckers? Don't you know he averaged triple double for the season? that means he assisted a basket 10 times a game for the entire season
Carmelo Anthony won a National Championship and has been to the Western Conference Finals, getting a 24.3 PER throughout the playoffs and losing in 6 games to the monster that was the Lakers that year. Westbrook has had his team literally one basket away from playing the Cavs in the Finals, where I believe they would have won. Devin Booker is 21 years old and on the Suns. Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard are in the playoffs essentially every single year, with doo-doo supporting casts. The Blazers are in the 3-seed right now. Tracy McGrady never got out of the first round, so we can add him to your list, though.
