I don't care if Harden is the biggest dutch in the world if he wins us games or at least not be a liability. Lately when he's cold, he's been costing us games.

Good point, I wonder if people realize how much they're bagging on the rest of the team by saying we don't get to the playoffs without Harden.

Asik really does have as much to do with it, you take him out and this is a lottery team.

What Harden does in his personal time is his own business.

He's not the only one who berates his teammates. I've been to a couple of games and I've seen DMo getting yelled at all the time by almost all the starters. Parsons and Lin yell at Asik for missing passes even when they should know better than to attempt difficult passes to him. Heck I've seen Parsons scream at his teammates for missing him when he's wide open, even if that teammate made the basket or got fouled. Even Delfino barks at Harden sometimes. That's what happens with a young team and a coach who doesn't really preach accountability.

Not really bagging on his teammates if it's true. This team has what last years team didn't, a star. Which is the difference between making the playoffs and missing them.

I don't really have an issue with guys yelling at other guys. But when it is clearly your fault then it annoys me. Lin, parsons, harden make idiotic passes to Omer & then they yell at Asik. Don't throw a stupid pass that you clearly know he has no chance in hell of catching.

You could play that card but maybe this is happening because harden is a locker room cancer. Maybe when your best player acts like a petulant child it rubs off on his teammates. Do you remember parsons doing that last year or Lin doing that in new york

He's the player with the best potential on the team, the best player on the team and one of the youngest.

Get over it. Everyone else on this team is more likely to get traded before he does.

Deal with it or leave as recommended.

you have no idea what he was saying or what he says to his teammates...and soooo what if he yelled at his teammates, everyone gets frustrated especially during a game...would you like your entire life judged by your worst moment?

I don't go to strip clubs because thats not my thing but i wouldn't judge someone harshly if they did...frankly i dont see much difference between strip clubs and watching p*rn (which im sure 99% of adult males do)...

I think some of you don't realize the impact of having a go-to player. Rocket fans who have watched this team night in and night out last year and the year before know that impact.

Last years team was certainly deeper. Maybe even better...but did not have a go-to guy.

Look at the Win Shares and look at where Harden stands among the rest of the NBA.

Exactly this could be a serious issue, McHale is losing the respect of the team.

Yeah sometimes I wanna see Asik just rip into them (even if it's in Turkish) for throwing him dumb passes or having brain farts on defense and he has to try to cover for them. Instead he just takes it all like a man and still plays hard on d instead of sulking like Dwight Howard did for awhile with Kobe.

James can be a bum some games by forcing shots I do agree. His game is so limited on offense while someone like Parsons has taken his skills to a new level. Hopefully next season he will improve but physical limitations will slow his progress. Mchale needs to step up and demand more from everyone. His personal life is what it is. Winning cures all.

Its not just about the strip clubs , I guess you're not aware of harden spending tens of thousands of dollars on groupies. Basically paying for sex. Its one thing to yell at your teammates when they make a mistake but its another thing to yell at them when you make a mistake.

Oh yeah we do need Harden to make the playoffs, but he isn't the sole reason. He's not Kobe or Iverson, I like to think they made it here as a team.

Can you really say this team even sniffs the playoffs with Smith , Patterson or *insert random free agent center* manning the 5?

Everybody pays for sex. Do you have a girlfirend? You are paying for sex. Sex isn't something free. Plus thousands of dollars is still cheaper than millions of dollars you'd spend in divorce.

Dwight's left elbow came down on Harden and he flopped.

Sigh....didn't take the time to read through this thread. Bottom line the biggest problem with this team is leadership/coaching. Harden is only doing what he is allowed to do. Seems like the organization was so happy to get a star that they now feel they can't hold him accountable for anything. I love Harden but he has been sucking lately and there has been various time he needed to be benched or held accountable in some type of way. Like I said in another thread, Harden has been mismanaged throughout this whole year and it's starting to really back fire now.
