Doesn't it seem strange we celebrate work by taking a day off? We're not celebrating work, we're celebrating the worker. I think bloated and resting unconsciously on the sofa are the best possible ways to celebrate this hallowed day. I always wondered why labor day is not on may 1st like the rest of the world, now I know it is because people in this country are so scared of having anything to do with the idea of communism/socialism.
