    I ate a whataburger w/mayo and cheese and no lettuce and tomatoes today. It didn't help my hangover. :(

    I usually dont get an appetite when I'm hungover. I get really thirsty and usually drink about 5 ice cold Coca Colas.

    No, it's true that sodium helps you retain fluids. You're dehydrated because alcohol inhibits the release of the anti-diuretic hormone, and as a result you've peed out all of your electrolytes like sodium and potassium. A glass of V8 will go a long way to helping you feel better, along with food and fluids, fluids, fluids.
