I didnt find TJs post racist. It was racial. SL 42 makes similar posts all the time and they are fine as well.
You need to be less of a self-righteous prick. @dachuda86 quotes BPS and talks about Hitler being a socialist which you ignore, and then you put up a post from TJ accusing him of being a racist and can't even point to what is exactly racist in it??? This sounds more about your personal feelings towards certain posters over any kind of legitimate effort to address issues in the forum. I never thought I'd be on TJ's side on anything but for once he has a point.
Deckard isn't what you call him and that's not cool at all. Even though I disagree with him and he calls me out a lot, we don't need to be calling anyone what you call him. That really brings this forum down to a new low. As for your bringing me up, I assume you are mad that I trounced you with facts and logic. Please seek help. I think the link below describes your problem. Good day. https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/obsessive-compulsive-disorder-ocd/index.shtml
Dude, it is all over the internet from several Democratic presidential candidates that the "meme" parroted by Trader_ J is racist. It isn't anything I just pulled out of thin air. You should get out more. As for me being a "self-righteous prick," look in a mirror. That's you, right now. Thanks for the comment, @dachuda86
TJ saying that blacks may not come out to vote for Harris because she is half black / half Indian isn't racist. The story in the press isn't that she is half black, half Indian - it's that someone try to claim she wasn't "black enough" to talk about black issues - and that is indeed racist. But TJ didn't refer to that in his post and I don't think he crossed that line. So I disagree with you on this. And you are being a prick when you tell me I need glasses and that I must not know what's going on in the press. I just don't think he connected the two in a way that you can charge him being a racist.
Well it was a black person who came out and attacked Harris for being half-Indian. (Don Jr then retweeted it.) - TJ has a point and basis for his statement then as misguided as it is - and although misguided it doesn't make it racist. He has made racist statements in the past. But if you are going to publish evidence of his bias, you failed here.
[Premium Post] Thank you Sweet Lou, for your impassioned defense of truth. While we rarely agree politically, you are decent enough to call out false charges of racism. If the connoisseurs of outrage play the race card without racism existing, then when racism does in fact exist, their charges will not carry weight. This does an incredible disservice to the victims of actual racism. Deckard, and others, should learn how to better communicate with those who they disagree with, instead of slandering them on false charges. When you have rage and emotion in your body, your mind cannot think clearly. Remember, hurt people hurt people. Deckard, you are in my prayers to have your hurt extinguished. GOOD DAY
New Yorker can't even stop himself from dragging the BBS down in the Guidelines thread. TJ is cool Deckard is cool Get along.
I'm going to repeat that controversial topics are not only unavoidable in the D&D, but in fact that they are often at the heart of important conversations. Sometimes differing political opinions are going to lead to a long of angst/animosity between users. This is true in real life. It may not even be possible for you to like or respect someone because of their opinion. That's fine. What will not be acceptable is harassment and/or badgering. If you think a poster is a jerk, loser, racist, etc. you can debate their opinions, argue with them, etc. but you can't follow them around attacking them in every thread for their opinions, even if they are terrible. Sometimes a discussion will turn personal, but if it moves into an ongoing personal war between two posters it has gone too far. If you can't argue the issues without making it personal you need to resort to ignore. Lastly, this section is not the dumping ground for propaganda videos and racist vitriol, but it is the place for people to have controversial arguments about controversial opinions. If you think someone is crossing the line from thought provoking, controversial material into the realm of racist, hate filled propaganda, report the post.
