They are. All four videos are worth watching. It's just so nice watching these two talk NBA.

REALLY really good watches. I actually enjoyed going through it, no matter the length. Just real, true NBA talk.

#3 is probably my favorite. Didn't see that Spurs clip (2:30) before! I really admire how good their chemistry and friendship is. It's nice to see that in teams.

I love the chemistry between Jalen and Bill.

Every time I watch these, I feel like I learn something. And Jalen has a lot more basketball knowledge than I realized.

It is funny though to watch them not acknowledge how wrong they both were about their pre-season predictions...especially Bill who you can tell is overly biased in his opinions where it concerns the Celtics or ex-Celtics players.

    Hey Jalen...how them Trailblazers doing?
Hey Bill...how them Nets and Knicks doing?

It's decent, but that's only because ESPN and TNT pregame/halftime coverage is straight up garbage.
They spend most of the time hyping superstars and saying dumb things like "they can only win when they hit their jumpshot" instead of breaking down game, halfcourt sets etc.

NBA announcing outside of Hubie Brown and maybe JVG is terrible, I guess TNT can also somewhat provide entertainment for casual fans, but mostly they are making NBA fans dumb instead of educating them about the game of basketball. It's the same on league pass too.

This has always been my problem with basketball discussions, instead of talking about X's and O' they talk about feeling...They never talk about the type of defense effecting the offense but rather just make general emotional statements.

Lebron lost the finals, Kobe put his will into the game, Does Durant have the heart to win it all. No substance just rash generalizations that any guy at the end of the bar could give you...

Been kinda underwhelmed with Simmons since his podcast with Lowe, where he suggested a Lin+Asik for Deng trade...and then said Chicago wouldn't go for it

    Really?

Asik lost HALF his trade value because he mailed in a couple of games?

    WTF

NOP would only go for Asik-Anderson if they get a 1st rd pick as well???

    LOLGTFO

I think you might have misheard them. Bill asked that question, then Zach Lowe said that the Bulls wouldn't do it, but he didn't say it had anything to do with the fairness of the deal. He said the Bulls wouldn't do it because their notoriously cheap, and Lin and Asik's contracts balloon to 15 mil each in their final year.

And I actually agree with them saying how much value Asik has lost because of that whole saga. "Half" might have been too much, but he definitely hurt us big time, trade value wise, when he decided to quit for those few games. Makes teams think twice about trading for somebody who clearly has a selfish streak.

While I think their trade ideas are silly, the Pels wanting Asik + picks was actually a thing that was floating around.

My problem with that podcast is that it felt ridiculously lazy. Simmons was pulling stuff out of his a** and was corrected by Lowe on a few occasions (how can you start a segment with Blazers trade scenarios and not know they owe their pick??).

OK, sure he lost value but half is ridiculous; Anderson is not worth Asik + 1st rd pick!

And this whole deal about the bulls not doing the deal because they are cheap is stupid. Why the hell does everyone in the media look at it as one yr of 15 mill, when it is actually two years of 20 mill? That is absolutely fair value for Asik and Lin!

Maybe I'm being bitter, but its obvious that Simmons is stretched thin in between Grantland columns, podcasts, Jalen Rose report and ESPN countdown.

They both said that they wouldn't trade for Asik...glad neither are GM's in the league! Overall they have good chemistry and are fun to watch!

    Thanks for sharing OP!

Regarding the Bulls not doing the deal, it is not really about whether Asik and Lin are worth their contracts. The point is that the Bulls has NEVER paid the luxury tax until last season. We are talking about a team that seriously considered giving up a future lottery pick in order to save a few million dollars from the luxury tax. Although their cap hold is $8 million each and Deng's contract is even worse than theirs, are the Bulls willing to take on MORE salaries when Rose is likely to miss the entire season again?

Enjoyed it. Watched it on my commute to work. Repped.

Not sure if Asik's value has halved. His presence in the paint, mostly on the defensive side, is a very very valuable commodity. There are teams lining up for him. It's just a matter of being patient and getting a deal that improves our team, not make it worse. Otherwise, just keep him.
