    uhmmmm....

Clutch has brought up his name quite a bit recently and the situation sounds strangely familiar to the Martin trade last year. I think this might be Morey's target at the deadline. Some type of package revolving around Yao, some youth and maybe the 2012 pick would be a good starting point for a club looking to save money and get younger.

Plenty of us have wondered about Danny Granger. The guy is usually a Rocket-killer. I hate watching him chest-thump and yell when he torches us, but at the same time, I'd love to have him doing that FOR us rather than AGAINST us.

Supposedly, the Pacers are also looking for bigs. We have plenty of players and picks strewn about to make a deal happen. We could improve Indy's depth and get that All-Star caliber talent in return.

But Indy already seems in a perpetual rinse cycle, never recovering from the Artest debacle.

ya granger is an excellent defender and great 3 point shooter. Would fit the name perfectly....he even trys to block a few shots.

I think yao will a big chip in our corner in negotiations like these.

If we could swing a trade for him without giving up Martin, we would have two of the more efficient scoring wings.

Martin is pretty much a keeper. I'm more worried about losing Battier in a trade for Granger.

Another no d player who shoots jumpers?

    I'd rather have Gerald Wallace.

Yeah I'm sure Battier and Granger doesn't play the same position and they are on the same talent level.

I would prefer to make deal for Iggy, Brand, and Dalembert. It set us back financially a bit, but I think that lineup is pretty solid and can compete with anyone. And the team still remains 2 deep in all positions.

    Lowry/Ish
    Martin/Lee
    Iggy/T.Will
    Brand/Scola/Pat Pat
    Dalembert/Miller/Hayes

Reminds me of Kevin Martin. Borderline all-star stuck stuck on a bad team while in his prime.

I think Granger is second on the list after Melo.

I've not seen him play much, but i've heard he is a good scorer and defender, so thats what we need. ;)

...it's funny - after reading ESPN's all disappointment team article I thought we would start seeing Granger rumors pop up again.

This has the Martin deal written all over it. Martin wasn't available for the longest time and as the deadline approached a semi-star needed a change of scenery and BANG. Morey will be all over this and the Rox have EXACTLY what the Pacers need...financial support, young players and a pick in 2012.
