She is a punjabi. She doesn't even look white. Indians are the richest ethnic group in America. I don't know why she wants to pretend to be someone she isn't.
Punjabi is a "race" now? Wow, I didn't know that. So did she had the option of selecting that on the form she was filling out?

She looks white to me. She also looks Indian. Kinda like Freddie Mercury. Edit: I misspelled the legend's name.
Ann Coulter looks like John Kerry with a blonde wig. Why does Kennedy host this show? Where's Dan Cortese?
On first glance of reading Indian, I thought the feather type. Never knew Freddy Mercury was from India until much later...
I once had a co-worker who was of Indian decent, but had a very anglo-sounding first and last name, and could easily pass for white (maybe Italian looking). One day he told me he was Indian, and I said "oh, I didn't realize that -- I assumed you were white." His response: "Thanks, man" I always found that strange. But then again, when Indians comment on other Indians' children, one of their typical compliments is "oh, he looks so fair!"
Irish are Indians. Flag colors are the same and play the same god awful music, too. You could say she is half-Irish.
North and South Indian are apparently genetically very distinct. Southern Indians are apparently about 50% Northern Indian, and 50% something else (I forget what). North Indians are apparently much more fair skinned than South Indians. Roma, aka Gypsies are apparently Northern Indian in origin, migrating to Central Asia and Europe during the middle ages.
This long-held view (which conveniently served the political interests of some who propagated it) has been debunked of late: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Aryan-Dravidian-divide-a-myth-Study/articleshow/5053274.cms
