I'm glad to hear that you and Major can still be friends and head to Vegas, even as you go through this painful divorce from one another. That is truly inspiring.
It's sweet, huh? We attribute it to Dr. Laura. Seriously, it's my sister's crappy divorce lawyer and the unethical opposing counsel.
Eat at the Mandalay Bay dinner buffet. Best seafood buffet I've ever had and it only cost $18. I didn't need to eat for another 20 hours after going there. Avoid the Pharoah's feast at Luxor at all costs. My brother got food poisoning there. 3950 is also good (inside Mandalay) but very expensive.
I'd say 'O' is the best show in Vegas, but then again, I haven't seen Danny. A few weeks ago, I saw Mystere, and it was awesome too (if you like Cirque du Soleil {who couldn't?}) If you like Asian food, here a few locks we found too: Tsunami at the Venetian China Grill at Mandalay Bay. I stopped looking for cheap eats; Vegas is now a fine dining mecca.
Mmm, seafood buffet. Thanks T_J. Another question-where's the best place to watch the games on Sunday?
Danny Ganz is a comedian/impressionist (Id actually be interested to hear AB's opinion of him if he has heard of him) I saw "O" as well but I thought Ganz blew it away...unless you are a big fan of Cirque De Soliel...in which case you will like "O" better. I'm with Pole as far as the dining...if you hit it big one night at the tables...go to Prime at the Bellagio for some raw bar and a steak...its outstanding. As for the games....the best place to watch them is at the sportsbook in the casino because there are about 100 screens to watch
I'll check out Ganz rather than "O" probably. It would break RM95's Girl's heart if I did that without her (not that she would honestly care, but she wants to see Cirque de Soliel so bad).
I guarantee you, the Raiders will beat the **** out of the Cardinals this sunday. They don't even have David Boston.
ESPN Sports Zone I think its inside the Monte Carlo but I could be dead wrong. It is pure bliss with tons of TVS and those super comfy chairs! Also the buffet at Rio is top notch!!
I got $50 on Rockets to win the championship at 100:1 odds. I find the Imperial Palace on the strip has the best odds.
The best two sports books in my opinion to watch a game are Mandalay Bay and Bellagio. Mandalay is a very rowdy scene inside their viewing area. I watched the Miami/Nebraska football game there last new year's. I ran into Olden Polynice at Mandalay once (not in the sports book). I gave him the evil eye since he used to play for Utah. The Stardust casino has the sports book with the most history.
What about Vikes v Pats, it's in New England and the Vikes played some D last week, if they do that again it could be a massive upset.
