Texans have like a 3-4 year window before Watson gets paid. They need to do whatever they can to bring in a much talent has possible ala the Seahawks while Russel Wilson was still on his rookie contract.

With Peterson the Texans D would become a defense capable of carrying a team to the super bowl.

 

We probably have the second best defense out of any legit AFC contender, right behind the Ravens. NE, KC, Pitt, LAC are all weak. Getting PP would be a huge upgrade. JJo is still a good #2. Factor in Hal’s return, and we’d suddenly have an embarrassment of riches in the secondary. With Colvin & Webster having the potential to return
