if Morey gets CP3 and PG13 this summer then he's officially the GOAT and all of his haters can go shut the F up forever
Now Morey doesn't have to worry about job security if he takes extreme risks this summer. A little support could nudge Morey into some extra risky sleeve pulling.

Perhaps Morey's greatest strength has been avoiding the "big mistake"...a franchise crippling move that lingered for years and crushes our flexibility. Brewer was probably the biggest gaff, but Morey fixed it in a way that didn't cost much and actually improved the team in the short term. Bottom line I trust the guy to make the right decisions. This is a huge summer for us...if we don't land a 2nd and perhaps 3rd star to pair with Harden, I could easily see him requesting a trade next summer, ala George this summer. There isn't another GM I'd rather have navigating us through this...whether he fails or succeeds.

Great move, hes a top 5 GM in this league and i love how he trys to go all in every year. Allins obviously fail more then succeed.
Good move. Having Morey is a major advantage for a franchise that isn't always the most attractive to FA's. He knows our chances our low, but instead of bending over he actually goes hard after every opportunity and pursues other ways to create value on the court. IMO he is clearly the best GM in the league.
They'd shut up for a week, then decide the Rockets won in spite of Morey. Once a hater always a hater.
