Man i would like to see those three to get the HELL out of here, especially that damn troll aka Moochie! If we can even get scrubs i am talking about sewers of the NBA here. They might even have more heart and will hustle more, with their contracts expiring next season. As for griffin maybe we can trade his weed smokin ass for a first round pick at the least if no other trade worked out. It seems that there will be some solid players in the first 10 picks if Carmello and Ford come out early.
what does "a top 10 pick" have anything to do with EG? He himself was barely a top 10 pick and has underachieved for the whole season. Rox would be lucky to get a top 20 pick for him especially after he got busted for smoking weeds.
Right now, our team has plenty of depth. But it has serious problems on several fronts. Our needs: 1) A point guard who can push the ball and set up our offense with those extra 3 seconds on the shot clock. (Moochie and Stevie just aren't cutting it) 2) A power forward who can rebound AND play a decent mid-range and post game. (If Griffin can learn to attack the post, he could be the man here...) 3) A small forward who can defend, get out on the fast break, slash when left undefended, and shoot the spot-up three with consistency (Posey remains the best solution here, provided he can improve his shooting stroke) I think the core of: Francis Mobley Posey Griffin Yao is pretty much set. So we can offer: MoTay Rice Cato Moochie So long as the Rockets made sure their front court (Posey, Griffin, Yao), get signed and trained properly. Our only real concern is getting that PG without depleting our bench, which is one of the best in the league.
Lil, add to that a coach that can actually run a team and can make them play "TEAM" ball and you got urself a playoff contender! ALA
