Fun chart on shot distance/FGA for players

    Probably not useful in any sense, but kind of fun to look at the players.

    Personal thoughts.

    Harden's shot distance is higher than I expected given how many drives he has. Probably the fouls skews his stats quite a bit.
    Melo is jumpshot extraordinaire.
    Surprised to see LMA so far up given that he doesn't shoot 3s. My lord he must shoot a lot of those "just inside the 3" 2 pointers. I still like as a 2015 FA candidate, but I wish he can learn some corner 3s.
    The few Rockets I saw were mostly in the middle. Makes sense. Average the 3s and the at rims and you won't find any outliers.

    That's like a 1 ft average. I understand that he doesn't shoot jumpers, but apparently he doesn't shoot anything but layups and dunks.

    I was initially surprised to see Battier up there since he takes so many corner threes (the shortest distance from the arc).

    But then I remembered...he pretty much only takes corner threes!
