    I bought 300.

Anyone else got pissed off when buying the DVD by not getting at least some sort of paper-type chapter-menu describing paper, only a disc inside the case? That sucks. :(
Tinman is on vacation, I think... but I think I can answer:

More space on a DVD allows for higher resolution and higher definition of picture and sound and computerized in-movie menus and features not available in regular DVDs... plus, the logo is really nice and you can come back and laugh at all of us bbsers who don't have a player. :D

Whats even worse is spending 20-35 dollars on a blu-ray movie only to have just a paper insert AD for other blu-ray movies (if that at times) or nothing at all. And then on TOP of all of that having the label for the blu-ray movie look exactly the same as all you other labels except the title of the film. I think I have like 7 blu-ray titles where all the labels look exactly the same blue background and then the movie title. That REALLY pisses me off. At least with all my HD-DVDs even if the design scheme for the label is the same at least there is a picture on the disc from the movie.

i mean seriously if i spend that much on a movie i would at least expect some sort of professionalism from the manufacturer. I have made better disc labels for my parents' home movies than some of the labels they put on these blu-ray discs. I believe that Sony/Columbia though are the main culprits of this. I remember my Full Metal Jacket dvd (warner) was not like this.
