http://enronx.org Former Enron Employee Launches Web Site A former Enron employee and other ex-Enron employees from North America joined together to form a Web site as a resource for others that were handed a pink slip. Jose Lazo, a former analyst who was with Enron for two years, leads the site. The site provides the tools necessary for those looking for a new job, legal counsel, health insurance or a place to voice their frustrations and thoughts with fellow displaced co-workers. "I have spoken with numerous co-workers, and I feel their pain, especially on the loss of their insurance coverage benefits and lack of compensation," Lazo said. "I'm trying to bring a little happiness into this potentially unhappy holiday season. I feel the city of Houston needs to come together as a community to ensure that the domino effect will not be triggered because of this monstrous incident. "My friends and I at Enron are desperately seeking new job opportunities and feel that it is our personal obligation to right the wrongs of a handful of individuals who have destroyed our careers," he said. Enronx.org, with the help of Techxans, has organized a pink slip party for all ex-Enron employees. The party will be held Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chammps Americana in Uptown Park. Techxans is a Texas-based networking organization. Their purpose is to promote networking and community among professionals in Houston. Each month they host happy hours to promote networking and social activities. --
Well, now they certainly have a lot of free time on their hands that they can use to create and run a web site...
