you got lillard cooking you. Chasing points and you don't send multiple people to take the ball out his hands

Sit jabari on the bench as well. he needs to earn his playing time. Start Eason

    Change must come

So, would this be the "Fire Silas 2.1" thread or the "Fire Silas 3.0" thread?

didn't think to double team him until the last 3 minutes when the game was over. should've been doubling him the whole game.

Silas is mchale 2.0. at least we're not trying to win a playoff series with him.

Silas has nothing to do with Dame going crazy. Majority of his shots were fairly well defended. He slipped some doubles and that needs work — but that stuff literally only improves from experience and practice.a (of which there aren’t many in a season). So guys are going to get embarrassed defensively early in their career when they don’t understand how to properly double to avoid the elite guys from slipping through. He scored all his shots the same way. Crazy well defended threes (occasionally momentarily losing him off ball but at least we always made real efforts to close on him); slipping the high double with their guys spread at wings (east layup); and pull up 40 footers. Like honestly, Silas can’t stop that. Only guys on the court and God can stop that…

Silas needs to be gone yesterday. Stone should be fired before next all-star break if Rockets don't have Kings type turnaround.

Kings copied Denver offense by getting a Jokic like big and turning into one of the most efficient offenses of all time.

Silas has a big like Sabonis and even a fast guard like Fox but refuses to try to coach a coherent offense.

Those 2 things are not related lol
We are on THIS board not on the board of directors so our opinion and how rockets are playing is unrelated
The team sucks, it was gonna suck no matter what, maybe they could have made some moves and won like 5 more games which would still suck

Kpj isn't playing, they are losing
Green isn't playing, they are losing
Jabari's ass can sit but they will still suck
Bottom line, this group can say whatever the hell they want, the bottom line will always be, that rockets would have sucked

He actually did send people to get the ball out of his hands. They were trying to double him the last 5 minutes it's just that the doubles were so stupid Dame would just pass them with 2 dribbles. This team can't even pull off the fundamentals. So yes, fire Silas.

Silas said in postgame his reasons for not playing Sengun is because of P&R defense.

Alright Silas, we get it. Sengun is unplayable like Kanter. Might as well trade this guy to a team that will actually try.

At this point, Silas is convinced every blowout's fault is on Sengun.

    He said it again?

Excuse me, but we were getting blown out.

What difference would it make, if it were true? Nix 30 minutes, Sengun 25.

    **** Silas.

One thing I don’t get about the Silas offense is the high amount of dribble handoffs in the half court set that don’t result in shifting the defense. It’s not like they’re running tight dribble handoff curl screens. Its multiple handoffs on the perimeter that leads to nothing or a player forcing a dribble drive into 2 defenders camped down and waiting. Doesn’t make much sense.

    Huh?

don’t be begging and hoping in the offseason that we lose every game so we can get Wemby, then start crying when all the losing commences and they look incredibly incompetent

Listening to the post game on Rockets Watch it sounds like Silas is for sure out of here at the end of the season.

That is great news and brings hope for the future.
