Capela was getting torn UP on defense last night. NeNe wasn't doing great, but he didn't let a barrage of layups go in.

Is it just me or does Capela just not get up as quickly and as high as he did 2 years ago from a standing jump? Seemed like his first year he had such quick hops and could block any shot. Now, he just looks like he isn't getting much lift unless he takes a running or a step first.

Well it didn't take much time to see why we should have gotten a younger, up and coming coach like Luke Walton.

Dantoni's pace is absurd and when it counted most, we went back to the same ol BS. No adjustments on defense while allowing 120 points. Disappointing way to start Dantoni's career in Houston. Back to reality quick.

I think we're gonna be a bad ballclub even if Anderson and Gordon are healthy.

What did people say here when this team had a 5 to 1 record in the preseason?

If we lost because we lost our "legs" in the 4th qtr, I blame the coach for not having our guys in play shape for this game. What excuse is there for being out of shape?

According to him, It would still be the Morey's faulty because Morey lets Howard go, and keeps Harden before Les fires him.

Yup.... reckless as hell.... "lets mix this biotch up!".... Alexander just wanted flat out gunners and didn't give a damn at all about defense. Morey just gets fatter and shrugs his shoulders watching this whole thing blow up. Quite a few bi-polar folks involved at the top now for the Rockets.

It is like trying to design the world's fastest race car, and not even considering any safety issues in the design.

Scorched earth MOFO...... jump on board, enjoy the show, but we are not responsible for any unprovoked animal maulings or murders.

You're correct, Capela's defense was not good last night. That makes it all the more egregious that Nene played over him given that his defense was at least twice as bad.

Do the stats back that claim up? Didn't feel like we got scored on in the paint nearly as much when Capela left the game.

I think when Capela gained weight so he wouldn't be so easily pushed around, he lost his quickness and vertical leap.

I don't know why Roxs fans are calling for MDA's head. Did the FO hire him to get exciting offense so as to put asses in seats? Yup.
Did the FO do that and fans got excited despite knowing full well that the counterpart is going to be diabolical defense like for all MDA's team ever? Yup.
This is not like COTY McSuccess' case (and God knows that I hated the guy). MDA has been hired and embraced with full knowledge of his failings . So why now? Why deciding to start a hate train now for what was known months ago?

I would say it is more like trying to design a race car and focusing entirely on top speed and acceleration, but ignoring handling and braking. It would work great for a drag racer (all offense) but terrible for a road racer (need to play both ends).

Was MDA the majority favorite as the choice of hire around here on the polls? I can't recall. I definitely wasn't behind that choice because his system isn't exciting as others may think to me. Any team that doesn't set defense as a significant priority is a huge no to me any day no matter what the offense can do.

People were already complaining when mda got hired. Look up the threads.

It is not that people start complaining after one loss. We knel the defense would be terrible and we were angry about that for months.

We should be prepping for the 2017 Draft when we get the #1 Overall Pick.

This will be the year Harden shows the league that he can be a good teammate and that he passes the ball (17 assist last night)... and team chemistry is good !!! Players will want to be here come next summer if this continues...

if you know that food is bad and you are forced to eat it, you are still going to complain that it's bad.
