And O'Brien chose Fitz, Hoyer, Mallet, Osweiler and Savage. I simply see no evidence otherwise.

How many more games like the last one before you stop with this? Even @Bobbythegreat has owned up to Watson exceeding his expectations. You really don't think BoB has anything to do with this scheming? He has played the hand he has been dealt every year trying to bluff his way through, he finally has a killer hand and you just want to keep bringing up how much he loved the bad hands he held before this? If we keep playing like this you should be eating crow pretty soon.

It's a good start like I said. Needs to keep it up if he's an offensive genius. I'd take an average (15ish) offense

O' Brien is weasel. So is Rick Smith. I don't think I would trust either of those guys.

As in giving O'Brien extension? Smith got his after signing Brock.

As in BoB no longer wants to leave.

    The relationship has been repaired.

I thought that would be McNair making that decision, one he said he'd make after this season?

And does the no contract talks policy during the season apply to the coaches?

I love how think if u get rid of Rick, that magically a new GM with hit on every player and not make mistakes in FreeAgency....lol. There is no GM in the league that is more than 65% perfect in player moves. Rick Smith ONLY real failure as a GM was not getting a QB. It is amazing that when he finally fell in Love with one, he sold out to get him, and it looks like a home run like 95% of is 1st round picks. Amazing...those other 1st round picks on offense and the free agent signing at RB are THRIVING because of the QB.

Pretty sure Rick chose Oz considering BOB didn't even meet him until after the signing. While BOB chose Fitz, Hoyer, Mallet, and drafted Savage, if the option was to mortgage our future on a QB that BOB didn't believe in, I rather kick the can until we do find a QB our coaching staff believed in.

Let's remember that the idea that OBrien didn't want Osweiler was also a leak.

No one has confirmed that on the record, not O'Brien or anyone else in the org.

OBrien does have plenty of quotes saying he wanted Osweiler, and that Rick never gets the coaches a player they don't want.
