Certainly a Bob "The GM" defender.

"but but but he wasn't the GM then!"

Like because he didn't have full total authority as GM, can't judge him or hold anything against him (prior to June 2019).

"I've always been involved in personnel decisions since I've been here."

The guy with the short temper, the guy who can't get along with anyone, had nothing to do with the firing of Brian Gaine? Or Chris Olsen? Or Rick Smith?
The guy who keeps moving up the chain had nothing to do with it?
    Really?

"Yeah they took 5 WRs, 4 busted but he wasn't GM!"
"Yeah, they took 4 TEs but he wasn't GM!"

    ?????????

You talk like the Texans are the Chiefs. It's ridiculous.

Not to mention Brandon Brooks, DJ Swearinger, Nuk, and Keenum all basically saying BoB was a b*tch. Think you can also include Clowney and K-Jax who didn't seem to leave on good terms either. Not everyone is going to get along with their HC or the organization, but BoB is a known hothead and it's already costed us good players. No reason to think it won't cost us more moving forward.

The offense now has weapons to rival the Chiefs, minus Mahomes/Kelce. Hopefully Warring can become the pass catching TE the Texans haven't had since OD left.

I appreciate the positive outlook but, trust me, its lost on O'Brien. You're wasting your time. He will do something else that he shouldn't do tomorrow.

Kelce's a huge part, he was top 10 in receptions and yards last year. The Texans lost that high volume part of their offense. If you can say they're on the same level weapons wise JUST if you don't count Kelce, you're blatantly trying to stack the comparison in the Texans favor.

Yes I see Cooks/WFV/Cobb/Stills on par with Hill/Hardman/Watkins/Robinson and DJ if healthy better than Williams.

    Speed kills.

I think all of the speed at WR is going to open up the middle of the field for the TE's/RB's in the passing game.

Watson isn't close to Mahomes is correct.

If the Texans get OD type production out of the TE position, which is possible the offense will be very dangerous.

Without even considering the Chief's continuity having played together
    • Andy Reid >>>>>>> Billy Bob.
    • Chiefs Oline > Texans OL
    • Mahomes > Watson (And I LOVE Deshaun's game)
    • Damien Williams > what's left of David Johnson
    • Tyreke Hill >> Cooks
    • Watkins+ Hardemann > Stills + Cobb
    • Kelce >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Name a Texans TE
    • Anyone who can stay healthy > Fuller

    Don't See where it's close.

we could have the same talent and still lose regardless, BoB is a fking huge liability to have as a coach. His mental and ego too small.

It’s so crazy to me that you love our injury prone skilled players, hate Watson and defend BOB at every turn

you know what, I’m not going to argue cause it’s pointless

I hope you’re right and they’re all healthy this year AND that dj doesn’t suck like he did even when he was healthy last year (and obviously know you’re wrong on deshaun who almost everyone but you loves)

Last offseason I went through the DABDA cycle pretty quickly after they undeservedly let Bill take the credit card and mortgage the future. It was dumb, it was naive, but it was classic Texans, and it actually might work.

This offseason is just inexcusable, though. I'm stuck on anger in DABDA. This isn't dumb or naive, this is legit malpractice and borderline insane. It's like there is no one at the wheel in this organization as this little shitgibbon tears at the circuits and wiring of what was an otherwise talented machine.
