I'm making this thread to let you all know that you do not have to keep your 2nd round pick. I'll just edit out the player's contract and make him a FA. The reason you might want to cut a 2nd rounder and not pay his contract is if you plan on having to cut someone after free agency, this would prevent a cap hit against you that you would take later.

So if you don't want your 2nd round pick, either e-mail me or tell me here who you don't want on your roster and I'll fix his contract so it won't affect your cap...

BTW - The 2nd rounders are the players with the 332k first year, and 465k 2nd year contracts in case you are unsure of who your 2nd rounders are...

I will only allow you to cut 2nd rounders without a cap hit up until Free Agency has ended. So you have until Sunday to decide on whether you want your guy or not.

How are the ratings adjusted as players get older? For example, Diop has a potential of A. Will he ever reach it?

    I have a salary cap/trade question.

Since I'm under the cap by a small amount, is the 15% rule still in effect for me?

Can I take on a small amount to get me over the cap using the 15% rule, or can I only take on extra contract that would put me right at the cap?

If I can trade and get over the cap, can I take on the 15% + the 500k or just the 15%.

I haven't been under the cap in either league so I've never had to think about this before.
