Was listening to a classic rock station yesterday and this song came on, and it always makes me want to sing along.

It's one of those songs you don't hear a lot, but always glad it's on.

What are other one hit wonders that still do it for you?

This is another that always gets me going.

The '80s alone had all kinds of great one hit wonders:

Will post more later but want to see what others post...

Der Kommiser was a banger at the skating rink on the northside with the brothers and sisters.

    So was this.

He was not really a one hit wonder.

Dexy’s may have only had that one hit here but they are revered across the pond. They made some great albums, well worth checking out.

I'm sure they are and I will have to deep dive, but that song has always been a favorite, probably all time top 20.

Can you direct me to some other songs I should check out by them?

Can't remember if they were hits or anything close to it, but The Outfield actually has several good songs.

Eddie Brickell still does her thing too and can still draw an audience AFAIK, probably due to her husband's popularity. :p And she's made some good songs like the one below. Although... it's definitely not what I would consider a hit.

This one came to mind immediately for some reason...

I remember being excited when this song first came out because of all the percussion instruments being played. Then nothing really happened after that. Now I hear this song more on commercials than the radio.

I thought we agreed that our song was private!

    You've changed.
