Favorite Free-to-play PC Game(s)?

After reading some builds, I learned that Shadow isn't a noob-friendly class. I switched into the Duelist class with a split-arrow build, halfway through the 2nd difficulty and level 48. Anybody still playing Path of Exile?

It's hard to find the right skills for my build, and it really seems to limit what I can do. Been farming a lot lately, looking for gear with good slots to gem my skills. It seems like the slots matter more than the item properties, or at least that's what I think I need to prioritize now.
