I've been on Rybelsus since Feb and have lost 25 lbs, blood glucose is down 60-ish mg/dl . it's the real deal as far as I can tell
Great drugs, especially for diabetics … however like with all things rare side effects and in this case could kill you. The research is conflicting some say it’s not stat significant to confer any sort of relationship. pancreatitis is a very very bad and realistically deadly disease in some folks. The kind you can get from these medications is the worst kind, hemorrhagic/necrotic. you’ll notice that you’ve probably never seen so many people lose weight in any interval of time in your life. It’s due to this, but unfortunately is not the answer alone, diet and exercise have unbelievable effect the best medications of any kind rarely counter ohesity is like smoking
Poor health choices lead to various diseases. Obesity is a symptom, not the disease. Diet and exercise is the cure. Pills mask the symptoms.
It’s irrelevant if it’s a symptom at this point, obesity is a self perpetuating cycle / disease. Your fat is an inflammatory organ that leads to all sorts of things like metabolic syndrome etc. I wouldn’t say they mask the symptoms they are basically alleviating and mitigating the effects but can’t do it to the extent of what you said with decisions
What I am stating is there could be underlying issues that leads to obesity. America's obesity epidemic is not due to genetics. I am not a fan of simply labeling it as a disease of laziness and poor life choices, however America addiction to 'take a pill to solve my issue' is not the right solution. Poor diet and a sedentary life style has more consequences than just obesity. IMO, psychology is the driving factor. There is much to learn from countries who score better on the happiness scale than the US.
@Os Trigonum @LosPollosHermanos @AroundTheWorld https://medlineplus.gov/ency/patien... fats are made when, from adding PHOs to foods. Trans fats are made when liquid oils are turned into solid fats, like shortening or margarine. These are called partially-hydrogenated oils (PHOs). Because of the health risks from these fats, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned food manufacturers from adding PHOs to foods.
One of my wokest friends switched over to the side of the good Turns out being an athlete and paying for all these people who are fat and don’t take care of themselves bringing our costs up was the final straw
@basso @Os Trigonum @Rocket River @Andre0087 Sade never mistreated her dancers or fat shammed them like Lizzo Sade > Lizzo
Lizzo fat shamming her fat dancers is like Kamala Harris making fun of Joe Biden for incoherent sentences @basso @Os Trigonum
It shows the hypocrisy of the left and liberals, she got famous for being fat and since wokies love to that kind of stuff they praised her for it. She herself treats her fat dancers poorly. They are all like this, its a double standard.
