To be on the level of space lasers causing wildfires you would need to get into things like the Moorish nationals that think the United States belongs to the descendants of Moorish royalty, that this is actually somehow part of Morocco and that non-Moorish (read: not black, because none of these people have any connection to Morocco besides their skin color) people are their subjects. Believing things like Trump refused to condemn racists/white supremacy/white nationalists despite video evidence to the contrary is not on the same level of crazy, but more widespread. They also think you are a Nazi if you oppose strict government controls (which is clear idiocy, Nazis were strong totalitarians that murdered their own citizens in staggering numbers, not libertarians). Fascism is about the supremacy of the state over the people, small government is anathema to fascism. That though doesn't require believing in something as cuckoo as QAnon, it just requires not understanding what different political ideologies mean.

Clearly, Trump isn't very smart and doesn't understand how something that is used to clean surfaces and doorknobs is not instantly and easily translatable to use inside the body. What he didn't do though, is tell people to inject themselves with bleach. He is terrible enough that there just isn't a need to exaggerate or make stuff up.

Bush did 9/11 is a good one, but there is an equally stupid take on the same topic from the insane right, that "the Jews" did 9/11.
