I'd be temped to start Lewis over Murray in a PPR, but lately Murray's market share is as high as ever even though he carries a low ceiling in PPR due to being TD dependent. Lewis is still in a mess with James White. Hard to project TDs from that backfield, and Lewis almost needs to score to hit value. I would also strongly consider Tellus over Reed. Philly is stout up front but soft in the back.
Wilson or Stafford? Thinking about streaming the Lion's D, but I also have Jordan Howard. Thoughts on DSTs against your own guys. There's also the MIA D, but David Johnson will probably destroy them by himself.
Need help with my flex spot for first week of the playoffs (.5 ppr) Options I have are not so great, but here they are -Dion Lewis -James White -Devontae Booker -Justin Forsett -Ty Montgomery -Delanie Walker/Cameron Brate (whichever one I don't start at TE this week) I'm the #4 seed and projected to win by 10 pts right now, I'm thinking the safest bet is probably best
Wow, tough choices. Guessing from a ceiling Dion Lewis. I was stashing Lewis for weeks, but it seems all he has done is depress White's value while not growing his own. His highlighjt videos sure look great though. And while I don't like TEs in general (wish I could play an oversize WR as TE, since most TEs get between 5-0 FPs). I believe your best bet is to play the TE you don't lay as TE. Wow, has Booker been a roller coaster ride. I remember when he backed up Anderson everyone was saying he would be a great RB. Then when he did become RB1 for DEN, he started out hot, but now the talk he is going to be a RBBC with Justin Forsett, a guy DEN just scraped off the waivers. And what happened to Montgomery? I remember when everyone was trying to get him recategorized as a RB.
Julio Jones owners: Any of you seriously considering not starting him this week? Could be a decoy and limited playing time kind of sunday
if I have to choose one, it would be Brate. The matchup is quite good against NO, and Brate is slowly eroding my Evans value with his red zone targets. Other players are mostly timeshares and Delanie Walker plays the no fly zone Broncos
Playoff match is extremely close heading into the 2nd week.. Could come down to who I start as my second RB. Help pick one (.5 PPR) Sproles (vs WSH) Ryan Matthews (vs WSH) Dixon (@NE) Asiata (@JAX)
Any final thought on my flex spot? I've narrowed it down to 3 Melanie Walker Dion Lewis Devontae Booker ?
Well, not really. My season and playoffs came to a sudden and crushing end. The week began with questions about Julio Jones, turf toe, and if he played, whether he would only be a decoy. So much turmoil... he didn't play. Ware started my week with a mediocre 6 pts in a game. OK, but I have Melvin Gordon and Thomas Rawls. Early in the SD game, Gordon goes goes down with a hip injury. Larry Fitzgerald (replaced Jones) gets 3 catches for 12 yards. Jordan Reed (Rule 86) gets 1 catch for 10 yards. I am done for the day, but the afternoon players are not doing much better. I struggled between Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Moot, both sucked. Thomas Rawls? Should have started Miler. Sat Donte Moncrief. Zip. Got hurt later. My backup TE Ladadius Green had 25 yards. I sat Lamar Miller, he did well. And I did start TY Hilton, and he did well. But Adam Vinatieri and Seattle DST both pooped their pants. Oh well, more time for being with family and watching the Rockets win and Warriors lose. Interesting footnote: I traded Ajayi and Pryor to get Julio. He was a big zero, they combined didn't do that much better.
Traded Zeke for Rodgers and Nelson. Ended up working out well for me today. Came in number one seed. Just got done slaughtering my opponent in round 1.
