    Josh Phelps was a DH for 105 games and played first base for 8 games last year. No games at catcher.

    Scratch my previous post about Ramon Hernandez

    Phelps will prolly be grandfathered into catcher eligibility because I belive that's the last position he qualified at before he became fulltime DH. I argued against it last year re: phelps and lost.

    Yeah, I saw that while looking for other players. Too good to pass up this late in the draft. But look who has more spring HR's, better average and better slugging % for that Marlin Team*: Ramon Fidel Castro.


    *not including Miguel Cabrera, who's been unreal this spring.

    Won't know till the first week of April. Basically, it's between another person and myself. The job, however, is very computer skills intensive, and I can run circles around him in that area.

    But I'm not getting too pump up for it though, cuz I don't want to be let down if I don't get it. I really don't mind working shift work at all, and my job now allows tons of down time for web surfing and movie watching. If I get this assignment, I will actually have to start working for a change.
