The draft has started. To enter the draft area, go to your main team page on the league website and click on the DRAFT link. To make a pick, click `My Rankings` and select a position from the list. Then, click on a player and press the `Add to Team` button. The time limit is 10 hours per pick. However, if you are going to be away from your computer for a lengthy period of time, you are EXPECTED to send a list of players to someone so they can pick on your behalf. Yeah, he did, or rather I did for him. Fanstar admin told me the timer should be fine after the next pick is made (i.e. DH's).
Did you make his pick through the commish page? or through his team page? Making the picks through the team pages is the way to do it without messing up the timer.
Ok. I remember the basketball draft, the same thing happened to me. The first couple of rounds had glitches, but after that it was fine.
Yeah, hopefully they fixed it and things will run smoothly. Thanks for warning me about not using the commish page to make picks, though. I had forgotten about the problems it had caused for basketball.

I apologize, it is actually my fault as DH and I are trying to finalize a trade, as I am extremely reluctant to throw in my Matt Maloney Rockets Dildo Jersey as part of the deal and DH is holding firm............... Let's go ahead and give him Bagwell.....
Tried to rank my players on the site but it's not working. Whoever DH takes, I will take the other top 3 ranked player on almost every site.
So what's it going to be if DH doesn't show? Are we going to skip him or give him a player like last year? The way I see it, the #2 pick is pretty clear cut (A-Rod) so I won't feel bad about making the selection for him, as opposed to last year with that crazy list we used that ended up in him getting Abreu. Ordinarily, I'm a diehard "If he doesn't show, skip him" but since it's the first day of the draft, I'm willing to cut a bit of slack and give him the obvious #2 pick in A-Rod. Any thoughts?
I say we all agree to agree on giving me A-Rod at the four spot. I mean, how sweet would that be? I could say that you were all "swell" and brag about how nice you people are to my real life friends in the coming weeks. It's a win/win.
By the way, I made jent's pick on the site quite a while before I posted it in this thread. So technically, DH's time will expire before 11:23pm as indicated on the BBS. (I doubt he will show at this point regardless).
LonghornFan is officially on the clock, and the timer seems to be working fine now, as does autodraft.
give Dh ARod, that is the obvious and best thing to do for all remember use lists I am in a different time zone so happy for people to send me lists if they head out for the night or go to bed early
