I have to admit, I have been very impressed with Smeg the last couple of years. Not only because he is winning big, but he's picking up players in all of the leagues that I never would have thought Smeg would even know to pick up. I've been really surprised.
Smeg's team hit the RP limit last night. Madsen registered his points first, so I'm taking Axford out of the lineup. Any further points accumulated by Madsen during the weekend will be deducted at the end.
who would have thought Ian Kennedy (surely a candidate for best waiver pick-up) versus Lincecum would decide PSJs season.... sorry dude
With Rook's win and PSJ's loss, final playoff standings have been decided. Now we get to play a completely meaningless week 45 to close out our regular season! Pitching games used through week 44 Max SP: 180, Max RP: 140
Yeah, I beat you, end your great season, you think about jumping off the nearest bridge, however decide to pick up the pieces and try again next season......
First round of playoffs is a single week (two game periods added together). You can update your lineup as normal for each period. You get 9 SP games to use however you want throughout the week. There are no RP limits. Second round of playoffs is two weeks (four game periods added together). You can update your lineup as normal for each period. You get 18 SP games to use however you want throughout the two weeks. There are no RP limits.
just looked at my pitching schedule, you may well get your wish, not even sure i will get 9 starts in......arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yep... still 7 pitchers total max. You can break up the SP starts however you want throughout each period. I.e. Fri-Sun: 5 SP, 2 RP Mon-Thur: 4 SP, 3 RP or Fri-Sun: 4 SP, 3 RP Mon-Thur: 5 SP, 2 RP or Fri-Sun: 3 SP, 4 RP Mon-Thur: 6 SP, 1 RP etc...
I beg to differ, you are very much in this, I'm without 4 hitters who would be starting, and will only get 8 SP starts at best, and you'll definitely have a big lead after the weekend, and I'm not convinced I'll catch you
Round 1 playoff update: Aliens: 145 (5/9 SP games used) Expos: 142 (5/9 SP games used) Smeg: 196 (3/9 SP games used) Rook: 142 (5/9 SP games used)
Round 1 playoff results: Aliens: 145 + 182 = 327 Expos: 142 + 214 = 356 Smeg: 196 + 248 = 444 Rook: 142 + 161 = 303 The championship match will be Smeg vs. Expos, and will be 2 weeks long (4 game periods). Each team gets 18 SP games to use throughout the 2 weeks.
2 weeks is a long time fade, and the way my batters keep getting injured this will be ridiculously tight
