This may be a stupid question, but how do you get points for a shutout?

If your starting pitcher pitces a game and gets the win in a game where the other team never scores, but he doesn't pitch a complete game - does that count as a shutout for him?

 

Phi, I've tried to accept the trade you've offered numerous times but it keeps telling me trade failed due to too many players on my roster? WTF?

 

He must pitch a complete game to get credit for the shutout.

That is a sign it is a lousy trade.............run, run far away........

 

If it's a 2 for 1 trade-you need to waive someone to create a spot on your roster for the trade to go through.

The Roster limit is 24.

 

I don't think I've been rooting this hard for Bobby Jenks to blow a save since the World Series.
