    It was A-Rod versus Pedro for me, but A-Rod wasn't enough to take me to the promised land last year. He had an unbelievable year and I still couldn't find my way to the top of the standings. I believe a healthy pedro put's me in the running from the get go.

    Is the order the same every round or is it a serpentine draft?

    serpentine. Ren picks last in the 1st round and first in the 2nd round. I have last pick in the 2nd round and 1st pick in 3rd round.

    The #6 spot is great. Picks 1-3 went exactly as I figured. Now, there are 3 players left that I would really love and I'm guaranteed one of them. As was the case with Phi, Cat & Behad shall determine my fate.

    Pick made.

    I went with the first slugging outfielder of the draft in Sammy - perhaps should've taken a pitcher, but I have faith I can get pitching at anytime, Fantastic Slugging outfielders, who now have decent protection in the lineup don't come around every day.

    Plus, since he doesn't play defense or anything, he's not that big a risk to get seriously hurt running down a fly ball, which is always a plus.
