so tired of this. can't take losing important games anymore. can't take losing overtime games anymore. so sick of it.
Well, Art Briles cost them this game. He coaches with a players attitude. He goes 2 in the first quarter which makes no sense. Then he throws the ball in in overtime when Gilbert, Evans, and Battle are running the ball down UTEP's throats. Kolb also seems to be regressing rather than developing. Art doesn't know how to make adjustments. He needs to go back to coaching high school. He still hasn't beat a team with a winning record.
Ugly ugly ugly game, but I'll take the win. That was the worst I've seen the Miners play in the Mike Price Era...we were the least penalized team in the WAC last year, so all those penalties were totally out of the team's character. And I'm not sure what's wrong with Jordan Palmer. All those overthrown passes were passes that he was completing last year. Hopefuly it's still just a bit of rust and he hits his stride soon. God how I love Quentin Demps...
