I had thought of a design like that, but on the side of the shorts...could work, but I'm not digging the yellow fading to red

 

Did you guys see the Red and Yellow unis the Heat wore on opening night? Sad that they are wearing OUR colors and even we aren't wearing them anymore

Also The Aussie Hakeem looks terrible in that uniform, so does Brad Miller & his 70's sideburns.

 

I'm skeptical of this artist's credibility for a variety of reasons. One, it looks like this sketch has been shelved by this guy for at least a decade. Two, this guy's rockin an AOL email address. Three, those shorts are way too short. Four, how can you trust a guy who doesn't even include pupils in the people he draws? Finally, I leave you with a random thought. Do these guys have some sort of skin disorder or are those lines represent random patches of hair? That is all.

 

Black Hakeem is slappin dat ass.

 

I actually think it was gold symbolizing that they were the champions.

I think that rockets jersey is the best mock up yet. Only thing I would change is the yellow shorts to incorporate more red.
