Bringing back, Landry, would mean an even bigger logjam between Patterson, Scola, and Hayes.

Patterson is never getting off the bench.

Well, we do have a shortage of under-sized power forwards.

If we trade for Landry, obviously we are giving up something.

well its good that we have alot of people at the forward, center because with this team you dont know its an injury waiting to happen.

    Why?

I mean I like the guy, but we don't have roster space, he doesn't solve any glaring need, and can't play defense.

I mean we score 110 points, and give up 115....it ain't the offense.

I do wonder how many of these stories are recycled... meaning, did Broussard recently hear that the Rockets have interest and are pursuing, or is he just mentioning casually a rumored interest because Sam Amick talked about it a month or two ago?

I do think it's possible if the Rockets make another move (big move) to deal off Scola, Patterson and/or Hill.

I did speak with Landry about a Houston comeback. It wasn't too exciting (generic answers) so I didn't post the video. I probably should though.

Here's a question for you -- do you trade Jordan Hill for Landry, straight up?

Agreed. Love the guy, but he'd only make sense if we were trading both Scola and either Hill or Patterson in the next month.

It's funny, if not partially used to acquire Courtney Lee, we could have used the Carl Landry TPE to acquire Landry!

I see Brooks being traded, before either of those guys, since the Kings have inquired about him before.

I don't see Scola or Hayes being traded for Landry. I would be very disappointed, if Patterson is traded for Landry.

Is there any other talent on the Kings we would want?

Yeah, on the season. Why bring back Landry? He's not the answer to anything. We should be looking for a better move than that. This doesn't get us anywhere soon. Plus, Landry is 28 now and not getting any better. I like Landry as much as any fan, but this team needs to make a more ballsy move than that.

Why trade for him when you can sign him for cheap in the off-season?

I believe he fits the need for:
    - heart
    - intensity
    - clutch scoring

this team just seems so ho-hum all the time and not too bothered with being mediocre. i think all that would change with mandry back. plus it would fire up aaron to have his buddy back. i'm for it and would be ok giving up scola, hill or patterson to make space, potentially as part of a bigger deal (i.e., i wouldn't trade scola for carl straight up obviously).

he was one of our better closers and he played better D then Scola...

Maybe we could ship out one of our PF's for a real center.

I honestly have to think long and hard about that....while Landry is a better offensive player right now, Hill is a better rebounder, and is still learning the game and he is 6'10" tall......Landry is 6'7" tall.

Come to think of it, no, I would not do that deal.....as much as I like Carl, what is the point?

He is an unrestricted free agent, why make a move for him THIS year when you can simply sign him in the offseason for free?

Don't know about whether DD or anyone else would. But I would.

Landry is a better player than Hill. End of story.

...and one team can never have too many of them.
