Yep ... you're right and Scoop, Battier and Rafer are wrong.

Through 43 games, the Rockets were:

1995-96: 28-15
1996-97: 32-11
1997-98: 27-16
2006-07: 27-16

... and this current Rockets squad is 2-3 since then. For reference, the Steve Francis-led 2003-04 team was 26-17.

People are going to hop on the wagon in February -- it's tailor-made for another big stretch -- but March is brutal.

I've always loved his articles. He's generally a good writer, Its a shame he left SLAM, ESPN has made him write about a lot of dumb things as well.
