I actually like the potential I see in Qualls and Harville...I think both of those guys can continue to improve.
I think that Harville was just in need of some experience. I believe time will prove that the Astros actually got the better of the trade for Saarloos. Qualls, Wheeler and Harville will give them a better pen than most people give them credit for.
Harville was terrible last year, worse in the playoffs, and he's not exactly a kid. I'm not sure what people see him him. I do like Wheeler and Qualls, and think they'll be OK this year.
Oh hell no...This guy sux azz and can't get anyone out...I'd rather have Uncle Jessie or Boss Hogg out there pitching...
Exactly. I'm looking forwared to an entire season of Chad Qualls, and to seeing if Wheeler and Harville can contribute over a season. Not to mention, if Mike Gallo gets consistent he won't be a bad option, either. The biggest bullpen disappointment last year was Ricky Stone--man I loved that guy. Two great seasons come out of nowhere, and then last year he tanks. I wish him well in SD, if he's still there.
