Looks like we drafted a guy, had him develop in another organization for 10 years, just to get him back.
My prayers have been answered. All we need now is for the Rockets to sign World B. Free to a 10-day contract.
That is weird. I just mentioned World B. Free in the NBA Dish / Fat Lever thread. World B. Free reference
if we are going along the lines of drafting someone then sending them off to mature to one day aquire them once they are over the hill why didnt we give kenny lofton a call?
Man, I thought it was a mistypo when it was mentioned a 38 yr old minor leaguer signing with us. I was thinking the article must have meant he is 28 yrs old
MOOOO MOOOO..... lol....i guess CF is becoming our prob now these days like how our SS position was for yrs....how many SS have we gone through now.....took over 10 yrs to have a guy that is gonna play everyday....lol.... Tim Bogar Andujar Cedeno Ricky Gutierrez Julio Lugo Orlando Miller Eric Yelding and finally now Adam Everett ...... I just say, be patient....will find someone to fill the role.... SOONER or LATER.....
I'm telling you we should sign Rickey Henderson to see what he can still do. Do you really think this guy is at 38 is better than the greatest leadoff man ever at umm...46?
Regardless, we are winning the WS this year. We will jump out to a great start this April, May and June and no NL Central team will catch up with us.
