I just can't listen to a one person talk radio show. You really need that banter between two jockies to make a show flow well. That's why I can't listen to Rome anymore. It's like he's waiting for a laugh track after every one of his lines....

I don't know why Rich and Marc get such a bad rap. I think they're perfect together. Rich is the straight up kind of guy, and Marc is the weird one. I guess not many people get Marc's twisted sense of humor...

 

Yep, me too.. now only if they get streaming approved I'll be golden...

 

Chance, does Adam have a brother named Seth? Also, STREAM OR DIE.

Flip between the two on the way home. Marc is starting to grow on me, but I still like a dose of CP

 

It used to be nothing but 610am, until I heard Matt Jackson on the evening show taking calls about who they would like to see in PlayBoy. It was very annoying so I flipped over and I enjoyed 790. Now I flip between the two. I do enjoy Matt and Adam sometimes....even though they both sound like Eddie Murphy when he imitates a white guy.

Rarely do I have the radio on in the evening...so the Matt stuff doesn't affect my decision.

But I listen to 610 almost exclusively, unless I'm listening to a CD. On occassion I will flip over to 790 during a commercial break. But not often enough to say I consistently flip between the two. 610 remains king.

 

Good to know that we MAY get streaming.

 

Oh, and the only good time to ever have a tennis player on 610 is any day that has a "q"...

 

Generally 610 in the AM and 790 in the PM. Charlie is the oracle and I guess I'm the only one, but I enjoy Dan Patrick.

The truth is really though, I'll flip whenever a commercial comes on, and if they both have commercials I'll flip to 650 for a quick joke.

 

I think 610 misses David Delati more than Charlie. They aren't exactly the station to tune to for scoops anymore. I miss his reporting there.

Same here. I can't really handle too much of Rich and Mark. If they are talking basketball, I usually feel like I know more about the topics than they do. I love John & Lance and the night shift is good now that Adam has been brought on.

 

I heard he wasn't there anymore. But it was fun while it lasted.

 

I'm pretty much a 610 die-hard, but in the weekends I like the 790 stuff better usually, and I prefer Todd Wright All Night (on 790) to whomever's on 610. But I listen to 610 pretty religiously.

I was a BIG fan of Charlie on 610, but I just don't really enjoy his show all that much any more. I still think he's really bright and what not, but he and Rich were a good tandem, and without Rich, I don't really care to listen to him so much. I'll usually flip to 790 during a commercial on 610 when Charlie's on, but I'll always go back to 610 a few minutes later. Rich and Marc have gotten to be pretty good together, IMO (although they are lacking sports-knowledge-wise). And Adam Wexler and Matt Jackson are really a GREAT tandem. I used to hate listening to Matt J, but now I think it might be my favorite show on 610. Oh, and Dave Harbison(sp?) is REALLY good. He should be on more. In truth, I think I like Dave+Rich better than Marc+Rich.

Chance -- yes, I want streaming. I'm going to REALLY miss 610 in Pittsburgh.

 

I can't stand the sports talk anymore period. I can't believe I lasted as long as I did. I liked it when it first started.

Lance is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is, AA baseball prospects and John McClain/Football draft is brutal.

We need a 24 hour Rocket talk channel.

 

I agree, but John and Lance have been making a concerted effort to talk more Rockets, I think.

It's still not nearly enough. Still too much baseball, golf and gambling. But I do get the feeling they are at least trying. Maybe Chance talked to them about it?

 

790 exclusively.

No Rome. No Tim Tyman (sp?). All national sports all the time.

Plus they air my favorite programming on the weekends.
