I don't think people should be freaking out over rankings. It is just a fun way to get discussion & get fans excited for the next season. & also for ESPN to make money lol. I want to see how Lowry & Dragic do, particularly Goran want to see how much he moved up. I don't put much stock into these rankings, there just fun.

Looks like Lamb is ranked above Damian Lilliard.

    Its something good, at least.

Really? Wow. My bad then. I figured they'd be close, but then again, these rankings don't really matter.

Delfino @ #175 up 25 spots from #200 last year. Got a boost from Olympic performance apparently.

Parsons & Lin & Martin & Asik are the four that I can remember off the top of my head. I don't know if all the rookies have gone yet. I know Lamb went. Not sure about Dmo White Jones.

You figure there are 30 teams in NBA, five starters each team. Anyone within 150 is a 'starter material' by ESPN ranking. Lets see who makes the cut.

There is a chance JLin is the best ranked player depending on how far Martin is falling but he is falling.
He once was a Top 45 player.

Yeah but once they took away his go-to move (the flop) he's nothing but a volume shooter with abysmal defense. And last year he wasn't even good at that.

An #NBARank note: Biggest rise so far is Isaiah Thomas +314. With 1-140 yet to be announced, Jeremy Lin is guaranteed to be at least +327.

    Larry Coon ‏@LarryCoon
...Lin was ranked 467 last aseason.

He was #156 in 2011. Now that he is a starter he will move up even more for next year. Asik was a great signing.

So far, my predictions have been ok.

    Asik: 99 (-1)
    Parsons: 152 (+2)
    DMo: 324 (WAY OFF)
Now just waiting on Lin and Martin.

Lins ranking will be lower than deserved..he has gone through a lot of very negative media recently. People even say he is a scrub. But he is a very good point guard.
