    I'm glad they decided not to tack on the first trailer along with some movie premiere like DKR.

    I don't know if it's done to be PC. They increased Arwen's role in LOTR to draw in female audiences, not just a bunch of hobbit lookin' dudes.

    No it isn't.....if they butchered the original series I would be worried, but I trust Peter Jackson to hammer out an EXCELLENT movie.

    This movie is going to be amazing!

    I seriously haven't felt this anticipation for a movie since the original LOTR movies.

    This looks fantastic. Thank goodness, Jackson isn't portraying these dwarves has a running joke, as he did in the Trilogy with Gimli. I love the look of it. I was excited before, but not nearly as excited as I am now. Thanks for showing this! :-D-

    I can't wait for the flick.

    If by "pg", you mean pretty great, then yes, I agree!

    Sorry to burst your blockbuster movie expectations, but the original book is fairly kid-friendly, and I would expect the movie to be the same. Even the trilogy is just marginally more intense than The Hobbit, and it's still mostly kid appropriate. Nothing wrong with that... well, for these movies at least.
