Did you even watch the video or listen to it because you obviously did not hear anything. It wasn't a campaign ad promoting Kerry. He's just the guy running against Bush. The message is to people of all walks of life to get up and let your voice be heard by voting. Eminem let the world know he's not behind Bush. Give us a break from the whiny, conservative, pass the buck attitude.

    D&D, here we come.

At a time where rap is mostly about money, cars, bling bling and hoes, Eminem is and has always been seperate from the pack with his satircal, hysterical, and often critical lyrics. He has been anti-Bush since 2 albums ago, long before Kerry ever arrived on the scene.

If you knew anything about Eminem or music, like him or hate him, you would realize that he is a genius at what he does. And saying he just "pretends to be other people and string obscenties together" is just plain ignorant.

Its just the stuff on the radio & MTV that is about that stuff. The hip-hop social critique is still alive in artists like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, the genre bending Ozomatli, etc. I don't mean to take anything from Eminem or insinuate you were saying Eminem is the only one. I just wanted to point out (mostly for the edification of lurking readers) that there are quite a few rappers out there with talent and a message. Eminem is just the only one all over MTV.
