We would rather talk about the awful things Israel does.

 

No Obama made a mistake in that he didn't want to be seen as meddling, but the U.S. has a role in helping shape a democracy and understanding that no side is to be trusted. You have to make sure that power resides with compromise between the opposite ends of the spectrum.
