That was posted on twitter. No follow up tweet, no context, etc. he doesn’t tweet often so just this. Is Eric Gordon saying something beyond just praising the Astros? The specific use of “whatever it takes” and mentioning the owner by name...I don’t know. Is there something there?
He’s right. Must be fun to have an owner that goes all out when you have a chance to win. Glad we have at least one of those guys in Houston
EG's been thrown out in trade proposals for eons....almost always as professional as they come. For him to come out with this now....makes me wonder if negotiations on his new contract aren't going the way he'd like....and/or, he's gone.
W9ot Astro Champs. What a grand day. Wish Rocket owner would do the same. Instead too cheap to pay ariza
Tilman take notes. This is what it means when you say we're "all-in". Not dancing around the luxury taxes while you give PR answers.
I'm guessing EG is not getting an extension of he is posting about Tolman financial problem Can we confirm Carl Herrera poster is really EG burner account¿?????
I’m beyond impressed with the Astros front office. Luhnow is a genius and Crane has backed him on every play. This is what a great GM/OWNER tandem should look like. One of the best in all of sports. Much respect. Jury is still out on Tilman we all know what Morey can do if let go. The Texans are a complete joke of a FO.
Honestly I think Morey is at the least a top 3 GM in the NBA and you could argue he's the best of the bunch. Dude doesn't have the allure of a "Cosmopolitan City" like LA , NY , Chicago , Miami. He has had two owners that don't want to spend and wont tank. Yet he has two MVP's on the roster and hasn't had a losing season …. ever. The worst season he's had is .500. Over the course 12 years , that's damn impressive. Now if only we could get Crane to buy the Rockets ….
