Good job by Indiana to hold the big lead. I still expect the Cavs to come back but they're lucky to be in the East, they wouldn't come out of the first round in the West with that defense. And, not even sure they would be in the playoffs if they were in the West lol.
does rodney hood only play well against the rockets? i thought this guy might be a good pickup but he's been fairly trash all season for the cavs. that one play where he had clarkson in the corner and ignored him just to shoot a jumper straight into oladipo's hand was pretty eye-opening as to his limitations. i mean either he couldn't see the open guy, wasn't good enough to make the pass, or was selfish enough to take the shot. and he loves mid-range 2's without being elite at them, a pretty terrible trait in a role player. and managed to be part of 5 straight missed ft's with lebron. oladipo has twice as many 3's as cleveland. this reminds me of us playing toronto the 2nd time where lowry had more 3's than our whole team until like the middle of the 4th. lebron has 14/5/6 and the cavs are being blown out. this isn't your father's cavs.
Cavs just need great defense. They are fine. LeBron runs the offense. Love, Hood and Hill run the defense. LeBron is not going to play any defense against Pacers. He need to save his energy to .....
the cavs are 2-20 on shots outside of 10 feet looking at their shot chart (assuming shots right at the edge of the paint are less than 10 ft).
that simple drive across the lane by thaddeus young was literally more difficult than any shot cleveland has made all game. lebron looks checked out, doing his "F y'all, i'm not getting back" thing. of course love just did the same thing like he's that good.
