It's time for a thread on where Hassan Whiteside will play next season. It's very obvious he and the Heat are totally done with each other.
Spurs would have to do better than that on a return. I could definitely see Miami pushing hard for a package deal for Leonard.
Crazy how Simmons can create knowing guys will not have to worry about him shooting the three or any mid-to-long range shot. I love this 76ers team, those pickups in Belli and Ilyasova was outstanding and both playing big. Their defense and 3pt shooting is legit! They’re getting Embiid back too and the refs let a ton of Heat fouls go. They are a dirty team actually and hope they lose in 4. The Heat have no chance!
Riles would be all over Leonard if he was available. Not sure they have the assets though compared to other teams. One note on Philly. WOW, Belineli and Illyasova...what HUGE pick ups for them past the trade deadline. That shooting has been critical.
I was thinking yesterday about how the Rockets really didn't do that great in the buyout market (please prove me wrong, Joe), despite really having top choice. Wright was a bust as an addition because of the injury and JJohnson has been poor at best. Other teams made out much better... even OKC by adding Brewer. Fortunately the Rockets got Green earlier in the year.
Yeah, you can look at Green as like a buyout market guy. Has been a huge addition. Wright was disappointing...but I think he will be on the team next year at vet minimum. So, that is more of a long play. Not sure Joe will make the impact we were hoping for....but I think he will help in certain matchups. Agree, amazingly, that Brewer has made a difference for OKC. The energy, scrappy play and transition hoops. Frustrating that he is helping. The Philly guys man, just incredible what they are bringing them. Look at Ersan's production (shooting, rebounds etc) and at his salary.......and then look at Ryan Anderson. man.
