BKN beat Rockets on some bullshit in OT, but they were still tough to beat. they wouldn't die. I agree with you about the moreyball system. Your role players arent reacquired to do much. Plus they have a bunch of 1v1 players. Philly's role players have no Idea what their role is on the team. Tobias has no Idea what he supposed to do.
I never understood the Tobias Harris infatuation. He’s a great shooter and a nice role player but I didn’t see how he was adding that much to Philly.
I think if he had a defined role he would be REALLY good. It feels like he was thrown out there to figure it out.
I was already questioning Philly's mindset heading into this series. For whatever reason, they just don't seem to have the ambition to rise above the sum of their individual talents. Now with the Nets stealing game 1 on the road, the Sixers will have to win 4 of 6 without home court advantage. That's a tall order for a team that doesn't seem to know how hard to play from one night to the next. Also, I'm thinking the cell phone thing results in fines for the two guys. No way Adam Silver suspends Embiid with the Sixers down already.
I'm also so glad this happened, for two reasons: 1. I hope Harden and CP3 use this to tell the team not to take anything for granted in round 1. 2. I heard a national radio sports guy talking the other day and he said he didn't think Harden should win MVP because the MVP should be someone who's actually "good for the league" like Giannis, Kyrie, or Embiid. WTF? Harden is a model citizen these days, and while Embiid is good for social media, on the court he's a total dick and is constantly playing the instigator.

Lololol first of all I never had high hopes for Philly Embiid is a bad jump from a career ending injury and Simmons can't shoot, teams just crowd the paint and its GG. It's great news for us though, we can probably get Butler next year. Sixers should have stuck with the Process now they suck again with nothing to show for it. Secondly Lakers must be facepalming right now D Angelo Russell has more value than their entire team. Serves you right Sixers and Lakers! Karma's a b****!
Russell has really grown into a leader...and Kenny Atkinson is the main reason why. Great coach helped him become a great player.
