Frontcourt- Who has the better FC Backcourt- Who has the better BC Bench- WHo has the better bench Offense- Which team has the better overall team offense. Which teams offense would run smoother and be more effective. Defense- Which team plays better defense? This includes team defense as well as individual defense Chemistry- which team would have better chemistry and work together better. For example, a team full of scorers who like to keep the ball in their hands wouldn't work very well. Based on these categories, you will determine the winner. IN THE END, WHO WILL WIN A 7 GAME SERIES Jamers PG - Isiah Thomas SG - George Gervin SF - Grant Hill PF - Tim Duncan C - Moses Malone Bench: PG - Tony Parker SF - Shawn Marion C/PF -Ben Wallace Vs. JumpMan C - Bill Russell PF - Dirk Nowitzki SF - Bobby Jones SG - Sidney Moncrief PG - Steve Nash Bench: F - Dave DeBusschere G - Joe Dumars F - Larry Nance
Jumpmans team is better than I thought. Wow. I am surprised he got this far. I'll vote tomorrow. I'm tired.
Jamers PG - Isiah Thomas SG - George Gervin SF - Grant Hill PF - Tim Duncan C - Moses Malone Bench: PG - Tony Parker SF - Shawn Marion C/PF -Ben Wallace Vs. JumpMan C - Bill Russell PF - Dirk Nowitzki SF - Bobby Jones SG - Sidney Moncrief PG - Steve Nash Bench: F - Dave DeBusschere G - Joe Dumars F - Larry Nance BC- Isiah>>Nash (even though Nash is my favorite player). Moncrief will do a good job slowing down Gervin so I will have to say this one is a tie. Overall, though, BC goes to Jamers FC- This one is close: Hill in his prime was amazing and I'd say he's better than Jones. Duncan is the greatest pf of all time and is better than Dirk (although not by that much) Russell was one of the greatest defensive centers of all time and is slightly better than Malone. I think the Malone/Duncan combo is too much for Russell and Jumpman to handle since Dirk won't be playing any defense. Jamers Offense- I really like the Nash/Dirk combo on offense. They are both players who like to focus on offense. I think Nash will do a very good job setting up all the guys around him and will get them easy baskets. Jamers has a very good offense as well. Isiah can get people easy baskets and a FB with him and hill would be fun to watch. he has very good post play. Both offenses are good but if I had to choose, I would have to take the Nash/Dirk combo. Veeryy slight edge to Jumpman Defense: Jumpman has 2 major liabilities defensively but also has great defenders in Russell and Moncrief. Jamers has a team full of very good defenders except for Gervin. His bench plays exceptional defense as well (Marion, Wallace) I like Jamers' defense more: Jamers Bench: I like the Dumars/Nance/Debush trio more than parker/Marion/Wallace. More well rounded. Jumpman Chemistry: I don't see any chemistry issues either way. Nash and Isiah would both do a good job getting everyone involved. Tie In the end, who would win a 7 game series? Jamers in 6
Jamers PG - Isiah Thomas SG - George Gervin SF - Grant Hill PF - Tim Duncan C - Moses Malone Bench: PG - Tony Parker SF - Shawn Marion C/PF -Ben Wallace Vs. JumpMan C - Bill Russell PF - Dirk Nowitzki SF - Bobby Jones SG - Sidney Moncrief PG - Steve Nash Bench: F - Dave DeBusschere G - Joe Dumars F - Larry Nance BC- I see a prime Isiah schooling Nash on both ends, especially with his toughness and defense. Gervin has a few inches over Moncrief in the height apartment, even though Moncrief was great on defense I don't see him stopping Gervin over a whole series. Parker is a nice addition off the bench for additional playmaking and scoring. Jamers FC- Prime Hill was a beast, helps his team in every aspect and wins vs. Jones. Duncan is one of the greatest PFs off all-time and if you unleash him on Dirk he will kill him on offense and do a great job on defense. Russell is one of the best defenders and team players of all-time, although Malone would likely hang in there with him and would not get schooled. Seeing the liability on defense(Dirk) I think this goes to Jamers, especially with big Ben off the bench. Jamers Offense- RedN mentioned the Nash/Dirk combo, but I see dirk having problems vs. Duncan and Nash having a really tough match vs. Isiah. Jamers has to very unselfish guys in Thomas and Hill who are great passers and set up Gervin. Duncan and Malone are willing passer with great ball-iq as well, making this a great unit to score on transition or on halfcourt. Parker, Ben and Marion bring toughness, athleticsm and defense off the bench. Really like Jamers on offense. Jumpman has a good unit, too, but I see the key in Nash struggling with Isiah and Dirk facing Timmy. Overall this team seems to be a bit too defense-minded, I give the edge to Jamers. Jamers Defense: Jumpman has liablities in Nash and Dirk and let's say the truth, his awesome defense-minded bench won't help him that much because he has to play Nash and Dirk 38+ minutes for a good output on offense. Russell can't defend Malone AND Duncan, so the frontcourt match-up would be in favour of Jamers. Ben and Marion are really nice additions off the bench and Thomas, Hill are great perimeter defenders. Jamers Bench: Mentioned that Jumpman has the better defense-minded bench but I don't see it fitting or working well given that Nash and Dirk have to play a lot. Jumpman Chemistry: Tie, both great. Tie In the end, who would win a 7 game series? Jamers in 6
Frontcourt- Who has the better FC Jamers - i really like the combination of moses and duncan... dont get me wrong i love the stretch spacing and combo dirk and russell but i see jamers post having the advantage... the kicker is (im assuming debush is starting this time) i like hill and view him way above debush... thus advantage jamers... Backcourt- Who has the better BC Jamers - isiah and nash are close with oerall offensie input but thomas's defense is the kicker... besides i believe gervin and hill are a tier above moncrief and debush... Bench- WHo has the better bench Jamers - i really like the second unit of parker, marion and ben... i like the offense and defense marion and parker supply with bens post presence...much more than i like dumars and a bobby jones who i've done research on but still aint big on... Offense- Which team has the better overall team offense. Which teams offense would run smoother and be more effective. Jamers - every one of his starters are capable of going off for 30 any night... i like jumpmans team for the fact each player has a set role and theres no confusion, but the firepower is almost too much... Defense- Which team plays better defense? This includes team defense as well as individual defense Jamers - jumpman has some defensive specialists in moncrief and russel... one to protect the 3-pt line and one to protect the basket, but he has two players known for being one way and not good at defense and thats dirk and nash... jamers entire lineup can play defense... Chemistry- which team would have better chemistry and work together better. For example, a team full of scorers who like to keep the ball in their hands wouldn't work very well. JumpMan - i dont see any problem with jamers team at all except for the fact whos gonna be the goto guy and which player has which role... but i give the edge to jumpman for the nash/dirk connection and because you can look at the team and tell what each players role on the team is... Jamers in 5...
